The BarkadahaNZ is all set to go full blast this 2011. With simple and concrete objectives in mind the group have outlined their activities and are all looking forward to working together to make these happen. In line with the goal of instilling Filipino culture and values among the kids, activities like Larong-Pinoy Day and a cultural production among others are planned this year.
To help build the confidence of our kids the group will be organizing a sportsfest during the April term break, and a cookfest on the July term break. The very succesful and well received carolling and arts and craft sale will be better and bigger this year.
Another goal for the group this year is to let other people know about us and what we plan to accomplish for our kids. The group is planning a presentation during the Independence Day celebration. We will also be looking at applying for grants for the group, to help in the expenses for hiring venues for meetings and practices.
BarkadahaNZ is faced with a challenging albeit exciting year and with team work, faith in each other, and God's Blessing it will be better than 2010.
